This professional glass habitat has been specifically made and designed for ant keeping.

The habitat is 30cm x 20cm x 20cm in depth with two connector ports where additional tanks or other nest tanks can be connected.

The tank can be used as a nest tank with either a shallow covering of sand / loam, a feeding tank or if additional sand loam mixture is purchased it can be used as a deep filled nest tank.

1 x A4 sheet of red acetate (ants can't see red so if you cover the sides of the nest with this acetate then it makes the ants think it's dark and encourages them to nest against the sides of the glass.
