This set is perfect as a standard feed to give your ants a wide variety of different foods and provides a balanced diet.

Description:
This is Food Mix Set for various species of ants that feed on carbohydrates and proteins. It contains everything the ants need for a balanced diet. Since the individual food rations are filled in separate tubes, they are easy to dose. It is recommended to moisten the protein, carbohydrate and fruit food minimally with a little water. This will also prevent the powder from trickling out when used in the “center” formicarium in the hole.

Use/Application:
Protein food = for insectivorous ant species.
It is a supplementary feed (mixed feed)
A tiny amount should be mixed with a drop of water and then it can be kept only 1 day when wet. Clean feeding bowl/tube thoroughly before reuse.

Carbohydrate food = for sugar/honey-eating ant species
It is a supplementary feed (compound feed)
A tiny amount can be mixed with a drop of water and then has a shelf life of 3 days when wet. Thoroughly clean the feeding bowl/tube before reuse.

Fruit food = for fruit-eating ant species (frugivores)
It is a supplementary feed (single feed)
A tiny amount can be mixed with a drop of water and has a shelf life of 3 days when wet. Thoroughly clean the feeding bowl/tube before reuse.

Sugar honey solution = for sugar/honey eating ant species.
It is a supplementary feed (compound feed)
It can be offered to the animals in the delivered condition. Since humidity reduces the sugar concentration and a fermentation process begins, the food should be replaced every 3 days. Thoroughly clean feeding bowl/tube before reuse.
