Camponotus cf. nicobarensis is a rapidly evolving Camponotus species from Asia. It is mostly nocturnal. All-day activity may indicate a lack of food. They are very tolerant as far as the climate values in the Formicarium are concerned and can also tolerate room temperatures over a longer period of time.
Specialty: Uses cavities for nesting.
