These connectors are very useful for items from the Por Amor range as they allow the products to connect and be compatible with each other.  For the DIYer these are a great customisation tool.

You can build very simple ideas or as complicated as you want, for example, combine an out world with a conical adapter and a test tube, add a grout insert, and you get a very good starting set-up at a very decent price… or make a test tube array using Ts, adding one at a time slowly until the size of the colony justifies a bigger formicarium, you get the idea, etc. Being able to have connectivity between test tubes and different vinyl tubing is one of the easiest ways to slowly expand your colonies.
